God's Will?

Another reason why Jesus
opposed organized religion....

America’s Roman Catholic Bishops are outraged by the Obama Administration’s bid to require the nation’s employers to provide their workers with health care insurance that covers the cost of birth control  pills and other  devices.
    The problem?
Roman Catholic doctrine considers birth control contrary to the “will of God.”
Based on this belief, the Bishops insist Roman Catholic institutions ranging from Universities (like Notre Dame) to Hospitals (like Fort Lauderdale’s Holy Cross) should be free to continue their practice of NOT providing any health care insurance that covers the cost of contraception for any employee – be they Catholic, Protestant, Muslim, Jew,  Druid, or atheist.
   Anyhow…
All this suggests the need for a brief compendium of the various people, places and things the Roman Catholic church has considered to be against God’s will at one time or another.
  Bathing.
  Reading the Bible.

Sex before marriage.
  Questioning the Bible.
  Pants on women.
  Questioning the “Church.”
  Protestants.
  Lending money.
  Sex for pleasure.
Challenging the “divine right” of Kings and other nobility.
  Muslims.
Believing the earth circles the sun.
Eating with a fork instead of your fingers .
  Witches.
  Wearing a wig.
   Impure thoughts.
   Attending a non-Catholic religious service.
   Eating meat on Friday.
   Masturbation.
   Jews.
   Playboy magazine.
   And so on….
