“The unexamined life is not worth living.”
                                                                                         Socrates

More than 2,000 years after the forced suicide of Socrates for his
thoughts, a 20th century philosopher and theologian provided us with a basic guide for anyone seeking the keys to an Examined Life.
“Every serious thinker,” wrote Paul Tillich, “must ask and answer three fundamental questions –
“(1) What wrong with us? With men? Women? Society? What is the nature of our alienation? Our dis-ease?
“(2) What would we like if we were whole? Healed? Actualized? If our potentiality was fulfilled?
“(3) How do we move from our condition of brokenness to wholeness? What are the means of healing?”
