Epiphany
In a moment of profound catharisis induced by a prime time TV commerical for an anti-anxiety drug, it suddenly came to me that any American with any degree of awareness should be depressed by their ignorance, impotence and insignificance as one of seven billion consumers drowning in today's global economic tsunami.

I know someone who took Abilify. It is the ability to stutify ... depression is better than being placed on soma. Imagine cotton between the ears and that's what it feels like, according to my friend.
I wonder if farmers felt this same way in the hyperinflation of Weimar republic or the uncertain markets around 1790 in France... Maybe all we really should do is till the land and hope our teeth don't fall out.

Is a donk a combination of a WONK (someone who looks up and interprets a lot of data) and a Dastard
(a daring SOB?)... a dastardly Wonk? someone who not only finds cool stuff but also shares the stuff with others (with verve and light acerbity)?
if there are snide remarks with the WONK, does the DONK become a SNONK?
