Hope....!!!
As an aging lover of stories, I find most of the new media has all the coherence and creativity found in the scrawlings over urinals in a ghetto bus station men's room.
In short, there is more mess than message in the Towers of E-Babel spawned by Facebook, aggregation, information platforms and other Cyber Graffeti.
But then, although totally ignorant of the workings and ways of their world, I find great hope in the new generation of CG tribal story tellers and their grasp of an eons-old craft.
For example, in my ignorance, I give you:

If only these new tribal story tellers can somehow give us new myths that will "work" and give meaning to the incomprehensible.... because, as Yeats noted nearly a century ago, the narrative line and the center in our old myths no longer "hold" anymore. Stay tuned. JKdeG
