 Nick Ut's AP Images

Then                 And now

While covering the war in Vietnam  for the Associated Press nearly 40 years ago, photographer Nick Ut won the Pulitzer prize for a soul-wrenching photograph of a naked 9-year-old Vietnamese girl  –- screaming in pain after her clothes and body had been torched in a napalm attack on her village.
Today, Ut continues to shoot for the Associated Press – covering celebrities for the agency’s Los Angeles bureau, where he shot his most recent famous image of Paris Hilton weeping in the back of police cruiser.
