Why Normal's ONLY A Setting On Your Clothes Dryer

Dolly Rev. Graham
Today - Dolly, the world’s first cloned mammal, was born 15 years ago today in Edinburgh, Scotland – provoking a minor furor among religionists and other flat-earth types of the day. Because the single cell used to clone her, the lab-sheep was named after the well-endowed American singer Dolly Parton. While several attempts have been made to clone pets commercially, the $100,000-plus cost per procedure has failed to create a viable market of owners wishing to regenerate a lost fur-covered love.
Birthday Boy – Creator of the Graham cracker, the Rev. Sylvester Graham was born 217 years ago today. A Presbyterian Minister, Graham devloped his still popular heavy-fiber cracker in hopes of reducing sexual urge in males – which he believed spawned animal depravity. Based on his understanding of God, the Rev. Graham believed men should not have sex before 30 – and then only once a month for spiritual purposes. Rev. Graham’s belief that a fiber diet reduced lust inspired John Harvey Kellogg to form today’s giant cereal company – initially with the idea of producing a heavy-fiber cereal to combat depravity in children. Kellogg, who boasted of never having made love to his wife, also believed internal pressures produced by constipation increased animal desires -- and thus encouraged the intake of heavy doses of oil to loosen the bowels. Obsessed with masturbation, Kellogg urged parents to wait until their boys were old before having them circumcised – without anesthesia! The cereal giant also recommended pouring acid on a girl's genitals to reduce her ”animal” urges. Not that you'll find any of this on the back of your next box of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes.
